Steve did a major remodel of our condo’s kitchen, living room, and dining room. We were very impressed with Steve’s skill and the value we got from his work.  He worked really well with our challenging condo rules and security team (not an easy task). He wasn’t just a contractor, following our instructions, but a key part of our design team. 

For us, the things that were most refreshing were Steve’s intelligence and his ability to listen. Steve is open to suggestions and he considers their merits.  We’ve had other contractors who were inflexible, and didn’t listen to our ideas regardless of their merits.  Steve listens, thinks, and then gives honest and thoughtful suggestions, discussing their merits or short comings.  On top of that, Steve’s been incredibly responsive to our follow-up questions on our remodel, even 2 years later!  We’ll definitely use him for any future work we do.”

Steve performed a complete remodel on our new home in just six months, including structural improvements and a new floor plan.  We consulted two other contractors, but Steve’s proposed timeline (a year shorter than one of them!), his comprehensive estimate and his reasonable budget easily won us over.  

We were so pleased with Steve’s work during our remodel that a year later, we rehired Steve to finish out our basement.  In less than three months, he installed radiant heating and a new concrete floor, fixed siding, added windows, a new bathroom and gave the room a uniform design despite challenges (plumbing pipes, venting, structural beams and posts…).
